The Vishay Dale MBR1560CT-E3/45 is a dual common cathode Schottky rectifier designed for high frequency rectifier applications. It features a guardring for overvoltage protection, low power loss, high efficiency, and a high forward surge capability.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 60V and a total maximum average forward rectified current of 15A (7.5A per diode) at 105°C. The maximum instantaneous forward voltage is 0.65V at 7.5A and 125°C. The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to +175°C.
This rectifier comes in a TO-220AB package with through-hole mounting. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. Terminals are matte tin plated and solderable per J-STD-002 and JESD 22-B102.
Typical applications include high frequency rectifiers in switching mode power supplies, freewheeling diodes, DC/DC converters, and polarity protection.
