The MBR1545CT is a Schottky barrier rectifier array from onsemi, designed for switch-mode power supplies and power management applications. It contains two diodes in a common cathode configuration, providing a total average rectified current of 15 A (7.5 A per diode leg) at a case temperature of 163°C.
Electrical characteristics include a maximum DC reverse voltage of 45 V, a maximum forward voltage of 0.84 V at 15 A (25°C), and typical forward voltages of 0.47 V at 7.5 A and 0.63 V at 15 A (125°C). The device can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 150 A. The junction operating temperature range is -65°C to 175°C.
The device is housed in a through-hole TO-220-3 package with a molded epoxy case meeting UL 94 V-0. Thermal resistance from junction to case is 3.0°C/W per diode, and junction to ambient is 60°C/W. The package weighs approximately 1.9 g and has corrosion-resistant, solderable terminals.
Typical applications include output rectification in power supplies, power management circuits, and instrumentation. The low forward voltage and high efficiency make it suitable for high-frequency switching designs.
