The MBR1045G is a Schottky barrier rectifier from On Semiconductor's SWITCHMODE series, designed for high-efficiency power conversion applications. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 45V and an average rectified forward current of 10A per device at a case temperature of 135°C.
The device exhibits a low forward voltage of 840 mV maximum at 20A and room temperature, dropping to 570 mV maximum at 10A and 125°C, which minimizes conduction losses. It can withstand non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 150A, making it robust for startup and fault conditions. The junction operating temperature range is -65°C to 175°C, with a maximum thermal resistance of 2.0°C/W from junction to case.
Packaged in a standard TO-220-2 (TO-220AC) through-hole case, the MBR1045G is suitable for power supply output rectification, power management, and instrumentation. The Pb-Free (G suffix) version is available.
