The MBR0530T3G is a Schottky power rectifier from On Semiconductor, designed for low voltage, high frequency rectification. It features a large area metal-to-silicon power diode with Schottky barrier principle.
Key electrical specifications include a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 30V, average rectified forward current of 0.5A, and a typical forward voltage of 430mV at 500mA. It can handle non-repetitive peak surge current up to 5.5A. The device has fast recovery speed (≤500ns) and a dv/dt rating of 1000V/µs.
The diode is housed in a plastic SOD-123 surface mount package, weighing approximately 11.7mg. It is designed for automated board assembly and is Pb-free and RoHS compliant. Operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 125°C, with storage temperature up to 150°C.
Typical applications include low voltage rectification, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection in space-constrained surface mount designs. The guardring provides stress protection. The NRVB prefix variant is available for automotive applications (AEC-Q101 qualified, but currently discontinued).
