MAXQ1061EUD+

The Analog Devices MAXQ1061EUD+ is a DeepCover® embedded security solution designed to cloak sensitive data with advanced physical security for secure key storage. This cryptographic controller simplifies the implementation of full security for connected products without requiring firmware development. It can be integrated into new designs or added to existing ones to ensure the confidentiality, authenticity, and integrity of devices.

The MAXQ1061EUD+ boasts a comprehensive cryptographic toolbox supporting key generation and storage up to full SSL/TLS/DTLS. It offers a high level of abstraction, including TLS/DTLS key negotiation, ECDSA-based authentication, digital signature generation and verification, and MAC algorithms. The device includes 32KB of user-programmable EEPROM for securely storing certificates, public keys, private and secret keys, and monotonic counters. A flexible file system manages access rights, and the device is controlled via SPI or I2C interfaces.

Supported cryptographic algorithms include AES, ECC, ECDSA, SHA, and MAC digest algorithms. A true random number generator aids on-chip key generation. Additionally, a separate hardware AES engine over SPI allows the MAXQ1061EUD+ to function as a coprocessor for stream encryption. The advanced physical, environmental, and logical protections are designed to meet stringent FIPS and Common Criteria EAL4+ certification requirements.
