The MAX98091EWN+T is a fully integrated audio codec designed for portable applications, offering high performance and ultra-low power consumption. It features a flexible input scheme with multiple analog and digital microphone/line inputs. The device supports master clock frequencies from 10MHz to 60MHz and digital audio interfaces including I2S, left/right-justified, and TDM, with sample rates from 8kHz to 96kHz.
This audio codec incorporates FlexSound® technology DSP for advanced signal processing, including a biquad filter for the record path and a seven-band parametric equalizer for the playback path. It also includes dynamic range control and digital gain/level control. For audio output, it provides stereo Class D speaker amplifiers capable of driving 4Ω and 8Ω loads efficiently, and a DirectDrive® stereo Class H headphone amplifier that eliminates the need for large DC-blocking capacitors.
