The MAX942CSA-T is a dual, general-purpose, high-speed comparator designed for systems operating from 3V or 5V supplies. It features a fast propagation delay of 80ns and consumes a low supply current of only 350μA per comparator.
This comparator boasts rail-to-rail input voltage range and outputs that swing to within 200mV of the power rails without external pull-up circuitry, making it suitable for interfacing with both CMOS and TTL logic. All input and output pins can tolerate continuous short-circuit fault conditions to either rail. Internal hysteresis ensures clean output switching, even with slow input signals.
