The MAX9278AGTM/V+T from Analog Devices is a gigabit multimedia serial link (GMSL) deserializer. It receives data from a GMSL serializer over coax or shielded twisted-pair (STP) cable and outputs deserialized data on LVDS outputs. This device is ideal for high-definition video applications, supporting a 104MHz high-bandwidth mode for displays up to 1920 x 720p/60Hz with 24-bit color.

 

The deserializer features a programmable cable equalizer for longer cable runs and programmable spread spectrum on the LVDS output to reduce EMI. It supports L-PCM I2S stereo and up to eight channels of L-PCM in TDM mode, with sample rates from 32kHz to 192kHz and sample depths up to 32 bits. The embedded control channel operates from 9.6kbps to 1Mbps in various UART and I2C modes.

 

Designed for rigorous automotive and industrial requirements, the MAX9278AGTM/V+T operates from -40°C to +105°C. It is available in a lead-free, 48-pin, 7mm x 7mm TQFN/SWTQFN and QFND package with an exposed pad and 0.5mm lead pitch. The mounting type is surface mount.
