This serializer features parallel LVCMOS inputs and a CML serial output that is programmable for 50Ω coax or 100Ω shielded twisted pair (STP) cable drive. The output amplitude is adjustable from 100mV to 500mV single-ended or 100mV to 400mV differential. It supports audio channels with L-PCM I2S stereo and up to eight channels of L-PCM in TDM mode, with sample rates from 32kHz to 192kHz and sample depths up to 32 bits.

 

The embedded control channel operates between 9.6kbps and 1Mbps, supporting UART and I2C modes. For enhanced system flexibility, it includes programmable pre/deemphasis and spread spectrum on the serial output. The device meets ISO 10605 and IEC 61000-4-2 ESD standards.

 

Designed for demanding applications, the MAX9275GTN/V+T operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. It is supplied in a lead-free, 56-pin, 8mm x 8mm TQFN package with an exposed pad and a 0.5mm lead pitch. The core supply voltage is 1.7V to 1.9V, and the I/O supply is 1.7V to 3.6V.
