The MAX9275GTN/V+ from Analog Devices (Maxim Integrated) is a 3.12Gbps Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link (GMSL) serializer. It is designed for high-definition video applications, supporting parallel LVCMOS inputs and a CML serial output. This serializer is programmable for 50Ω coax or 100Ω shielded twisted pair (STP) cable drive, with output amplitude adjustable from 100mV to 500mV single-ended or 100mV to 400mV differential.
The device supports an audio channel for L-PCM I2S stereo and up to eight channels of L-PCM in TDM mode, with sample rates from 32kHz to 192kHz and sample depth up to 32 bits. The embedded control channel operates from 9.6kbps to 1Mbps in various UART and I2C modes. It also includes features like programmable pre/deemphasis and spread spectrum for longer cable runs and reduced EMI.
