MAX9176EUB+T

The MAX9176EUB+T is a 670MHz, low-jitter, 2:1 multiplexer designed for applications such as protection switching, loopback, and clock distribution. It offers ultra-low 68ps peak-to-peak deterministic jitter, ensuring reliable operation in high-speed links sensitive to timing errors.

This device features fail-safe LVDS inputs and an LVDS output. The output can be placed in a high-impedance state using the power-down input. The MAX9176EUB+T includes fail-safe circuits that drive the output high when a selected input is open, undriven and shorted, or undriven and terminated. Its select and power-down inputs are compatible with standard LVTTL/LVCMOS logic and tolerate undershoot of -1V and overshoot of VCC + 1V.

Operating from a single 3.3V supply, the MAX9176EUB+T is available in a 10-pin uMAX package. It is specified for operation over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The device conforms to the ANSI TIA/EIA-644 LVDS standard and has an IEC61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD rating.
