The MAX9140EUK-T is a single, high-speed comparator optimized for systems powered from 3V or 5V supplies. It offers a fast 40ns propagation delay with only 150µA supply current per comparator. The device features rail-to-rail inputs and outputs that swing to within 300mV of either supply rail, making it ideal for interfacing with CMOS and TTL logic.
Key electrical characteristics include a low 500µV offset voltage and internal hysteresis for clean output switching, even with slow input signals. The input common-mode range extends beyond both power-supply rails. All input and output pins can tolerate a continuous short-circuit fault condition to either rail.
