The MAX908ESD+ is a quad, high-speed, ultra-low-power voltage comparator designed for single +5V supply systems. It offers a fast 40ns propagation delay with only 3.5mW power consumption per comparator. The wide input common-mode range extends from 200mV below ground to within 1.5V of the positive supply rail.
This comparator features TTL-compatible outputs that require no external pullup circuitry. All inputs and outputs are protected against continuous shorting to either supply rail. Internal hysteresis ensures clean output switching even with slow-moving input signals. The MAX908ESD+ is ideal for battery-powered systems, high-speed A/D converters, line receivers, and threshold detectors.
Packaged in a 14-SOIC, the MAX908ESD+ is suitable for surface mount applications. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
