The MAX907EPA is a dual general-purpose comparator designed for single +5V supply systems. It offers a fast 40ns propagation delay with only 3.5mW power consumption per comparator. The wide input common-mode range extends to within 1.5V of the positive supply rail and 200mV below ground.
This comparator series includes internal hysteresis for clean output switching, even with slow-moving input signals. The outputs are TTL-compatible, eliminating the need for external pullup circuitry. All inputs and outputs are protected against continuous shorting to either supply rail.
The MAX907EPA is available in an 8-pin DIP package, suitable for through-hole mounting. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
