The MAX902ESD-T is a high-speed, low-power dual voltage comparator from Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated. It features differential analog inputs and TTL-logic outputs with active internal pull-ups. With a typical propagation delay of 8ns at 5mV overdrive, it is suitable for fast A/D converters and sampling circuits, line receivers, and V/F converters.
This comparator operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and is available in a 14-SOIC package for surface mounting. It can be powered from separate analog and digital supplies or a single combined supply. The input common-mode range includes the negative rail, enabling ground sensing with a single supply. The device consumes approximately 18mW per comparator when powered from +5V.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum input bias current of 10µA at ±5V and a maximum input offset voltage of 4mV at ±5V. Supply voltage flexibility allows for single supplies from +5V to +10V or dual supplies from ±2.5V to ±5V. The MAX902ESD-T includes TTL-compatible latch inputs, allowing the comparator output states to be held when the latch inputs are driven low.
