The MAX8545EUB is a cost-sensitive, voltage-mode pulse-width-modulated (PWM) step-down DC-DC controller from Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated. It is designed to drive low-cost n-channel MOSFETs and does not require an external current-sense resistor.
