The MAX8510EXK28+T is an ultra-low-noise, low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator designed to deliver up to 120mA continuous output current. It features a fixed output voltage of 2.8V and achieves a low dropout voltage of 120mV at 120mA load. The regulator utilizes an advanced architecture for ultra-low output voltage noise of 11µV RMS and high Power Supply Rejection Ratio (PSRR) of 78dB at 1kHz.
Designed for space-saving applications, the MAX8510EXK28+T is available in a compact 5-pin SC-70 package. It operates with an input voltage range of 2V to 6V and includes overcurrent and thermal protection features. The device is stable with a 1µF ceramic capacitor for any load condition and consumes a low ground current of 40µA. When disabled, current consumption drops to below 1µA.
This LDO is suitable for various portable and battery-powered equipment, including cellular phones, PDAs, Bluetooth devices, and digital cameras, where low noise and efficient power regulation are critical.
