The MAX77734GENP+T is a highly integrated Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) from Analog Devices Inc., designed for applications where size and simplicity are critical. This device features a linear-mode Li+ battery charger optimized for small battery systems, capable of fast-charge currents from 7.5mA to 300mA and accurate termination currents as low as 0.375mA. It also includes a 150mA low-dropout linear regulator (LDO) with a programmable output voltage between 0.8V and 3.975V via I2C.
Further integration includes an analog multiplexer for power monitoring and dual-channel current sink drivers for LED control. The MAX77734GENP+T boasts low quiescent current (4.5μA with LDO enabled) and shutdown current (500nA) to extend battery life. It supports an Instant-On functionality and JEITA battery temperature monitoring for safe charging.
Packaged in a small 20-bump, 0.4mm pitch wafer-level package (WLP), measuring 2.23mm x 1.97mm, this PMIC is ideal for hearables, fitness bands, IoT gadgets, and other wearable devices. The surface-mount package and compact WLP form factor facilitate integration into miniaturized electronic designs.
