The MAX7313AEG+T is a 16-port I/O expander from Analog Devices, designed for microprocessors requiring additional digital I/O. It communicates via a 2-wire I2C/SMBus serial interface, supporting speeds up to 400kHz.
Each of the 16 I/O ports can be individually configured as either a logic input with transition detection or an open-drain current-sinking output rated at 50mA and 5.5V.
