MAX7301ATL+

The MAX7301ATL+ is a compact, serial-interfaced I/O expander designed to provide microprocessors with up to 28 general-purpose I/O (GPIO) ports. Each port is individually configurable as either a logic input or a push-pull logic output, capable of sinking 10mA and sourcing 4.5mA. Seven ports feature configurable transition detection logic for interrupt generation.

This device utilizes an industry-standard 4-wire SPI-compatible serial interface, simplifying expansion of I/O ports independently of the microprocessor architecture. It supports high-speed operation up to 26MHz and operates within a voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V. The MAX7301ATL+ is available in a 40-pin TQFN package, suitable for surface mounting.

Key features include configurable transition detection logic for seven I/O ports and low power consumption, with a maximum shutdown current of 11μA. Applications for this I/O expander include white goods, gaming machines, industrial controllers, and system monitoring.

The MAX7301ATL+ is specified for an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. Its 40-WFQFN Exposed Pad package is designed for surface mount applications, ensuring efficient integration into various electronic designs.
