The MAX6605MXK+T is a precision, low-power analog output temperature sensor designed for a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. It operates from a supply voltage of +2.7V to +5.5V and consumes a maximum of 10µA.
This sensor boasts an accuracy of ±0.75°C at +25°C and ±3°C from 0°C to +70°C. The output voltage is directly dependent on the die temperature, with a typical slope of 11.9mV/°C and an offset of 744mV at 0°C. It exhibits low nonlinearity, typically showing only +0.4°C over the -20°C to +85°C range.
Available in a compact 5-pin SC-70-5 package, the MAX6605MXK+T is suitable for surface mount applications. Its small size and low power consumption make it ideal for battery-powered devices and space-constrained designs.
Applications include cellular phones, battery packs, GPS equipment, and digital cameras where accurate temperature monitoring is crucial.
