The MAX6328UR31-T from Analog Devices is a microprocessor supervisory circuit designed to monitor power supply voltages in digital systems. It provides excellent circuit reliability and low cost by eliminating external components. This device asserts an active-low reset signal whenever the VCC supply voltage declines below a preset threshold, keeping it asserted for at least 100ms after VCC has risen above the reset threshold.
The MAX6328UR31-T features a nominal operating voltage of 3.08V and a reset timeout of 100ms minimum. It is designed to ignore fast transients on VCC and is guaranteed to be in the correct state for VCC down to 1V. The device has an ultra-low supply current of 1µA maximum, making it suitable for portable equipment.
This supervisory IC is available in a space-saving SOT-23-3 package, suitable for surface mount applications. It is pin-compatible with other common supervisory ICs like the MAX803/MAX809/MAX810. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C (TA).
