The MAX6315US31D3-T is a low-power CMOS microprocessor supervisory circuit designed by Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated to monitor power supplies in microprocessor and digital systems. It ensures reliable system operation with minimal power consumption, featuring a precision, factory-set VCC reset threshold of 3.08V.
This device asserts a reset signal when the VCC supply voltage falls below the preset threshold or when manual reset is asserted. The reset remains asserted for an internally programmed interval of 140ms minimum after VCC rises above the threshold or manual reset is deasserted. The open-drain RESET output can be pulled up to a voltage higher than VCC.
The MAX6315US31D3-T is supplied in a compact SOT-143-4 surface-mount package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. Its operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C (TA).
Applications include computers, controllers, intelligent instruments, critical µP and µC power monitoring, and portable/battery-powered equipment. The circuit is immune to short VCC transients and provides 5µA supply current.
