The MAX6314US26D1-T is a low-power CMOS microprocessor supervisory circuit designed for monitoring power supplies in digital systems. It features a bidirectional RESET output, simplifying interface to microprocessors with similar reset inputs. This device asserts a reset signal when the VCC supply voltage falls below a preset threshold of 2.63V or when manual reset is asserted.
The reset signal remains asserted for an internally programmed interval of 1ms minimum after VCC has risen above the reset threshold or manual reset is deasserted. The MAX6314US26D1-T offers precision factory-set reset thresholds with ±1.8% accuracy at +25°C and ±2.5% over temperature. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
This supervisory circuit is housed in a compact SOT-143-4 surface mount package. Its applications include computers, controllers, intelligent instruments, critical µP and µC power monitoring, and portable/battery-powered equipment. The device draws a low supply current of 5µA.
Key features include a small SOT-143 package, a bidirectional reset output, and factory-set VCC reset thresholds. It is also immune to short VCC transients.
