The MAX6314US26D1+T is a low-power CMOS microprocessor supervisory circuit designed by Analog Devices Inc. This device monitors power supplies in microprocessor and digital systems, asserting a reset signal when the VCC supply voltage falls below a preset threshold or when manual reset is asserted. The reset signal remains active for an internally programmed interval after VCC rises above the threshold.
Key electrical specifications include a precise factory-set VCC reset threshold of 2.63V with ±1.8% accuracy at +25°C and ±2.5% over temperature. It offers a reset timeout period of 1ms minimum and consumes only 5µA of supply current. The RESET output is bidirectional, simplifying interface to microprocessors with bidirectional reset inputs.
This supervisory circuit is housed in a compact SOT-143-4 surface-mount package. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (TA). The MAX6314US26D1+T is suitable for applications requiring critical µP and µC power monitoring, including computers, controllers, intelligent instruments, and portable/battery-powered equipment.
