The MAX5742EUB+T is a quad, 12-bit, low-power, buffered voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) packaged in a 10-pin µMAX package. It operates over a wide supply voltage range of +2.7V to +5.5V, making it suitable for low-power and low-voltage applications.
This DAC features on-chip precision output amplifiers that swing rail-to-rail. The reference input accepts a voltage range from 0 to VDD. It includes a power-on reset (POR) circuit that resets DAC outputs to zero for safety during power-up. The device supports a 20MHz, 3-wire SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP-compatible serial interface.
With ultra-low power consumption and a power-down current of less than 0.3µA, the MAX5742EUB+T is ideal for battery-powered instruments. It offers guaranteed 12-bit monotonicity and a settling time of 10µs. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
