The MAX5478ETE+T is a nonvolatile, dual, linear-taper digital potentiometer from Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated. It performs the function of a mechanical potentiometer with a simple 2-wire digital interface and offers 256 tap points. The device features an internal nonvolatile EEPROM to store the wiper position for power-up initialization and includes an EEPROM write-protect feature.
