This digital potentiometer has a nominal resistance of 50kΩ and a tolerance of ±25%. It operates over a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.25V and features a fast 400kbps I2C-compatible serial interface. The nominal resistor temperature coefficient is 70ppm/°C end-to-end and 10ppm/°C ratiometric. The device operates within an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

 

The MAX5478ETE+T is available in a 16-pin 3mm x 3mm x 0.8mm TQFN package, suitable for surface mount applications. Its design makes it ideal for applications requiring a low-temperature-coefficient variable resistor, such as low-drift, programmable gain-amplifier circuit configurations, volume control, and LCD contrast control.
