The MAX532BCWE is a complete, dual, 12-bit multiplying digital-to-analog converter (MDAC) with integrated output amplifiers, manufactured by Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated. It offers a fast 6MHz, 3-wire serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, and Microwire standards, minimizing board space and digital noise feedthrough.
Key electrical specifications include a 12-bit resolution, ±12V output swing, ±10mA output current, and a settling time of 2.5µs to ±1/2 LSB. The device guarantees monotonicity over temperature and features low integral nonlinearity of ±1/2 LSB max and a low gain tempco of 2ppm/°C. It operates from ±12V to ±15V supplies and requires an external reference.
Designed for applications such as automatic test equipment, arbitrary waveform generators, programmable-gain amplifiers, motion control systems, and servo controls, the MAX532BCWE is available in a space-saving 16-pin SOIC package. It is suitable for surface mount applications and operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.
