The MAX513CPD+ is a triple 8-bit, voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices, designed for applications requiring precise voltage control. It features three independent DACs (A, B, and C), with DACs A and B including output buffer amplifiers to reduce external component count. The device supports a 3-wire serial interface with a maximum operating frequency of 5MHz, compatible with SPI, QSPI, and Microwire standards.
This DAC operates from a single +5V ±10% supply (MAX512) or a +2.7V to +3.6V supply (MAX513), and can also function with bipolar supplies. It boasts low power consumption, with an operating current of only 1mA and a shutdown current of less than 1µA. Any of the three DACs can be independently shut down to further minimize power usage.
Available in space-saving 14-pin DIP and SO packages, the MAX513CPD+ is suitable for portable and battery-powered applications. Its features make it ideal for digital gain and offset adjustment, programmable attenuators, and RF digitally adjustable bias circuits.
