The MAX510ACPE is a quad, serial-input, 8-bit voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) designed for flexible operation with single +5V or dual ±5V supplies. It features internal precision buffers that provide rail-to-rail output swing, and the reference input range includes both supply rails.
The device utilizes a double-buffered serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, and MICROWIRE standards, allowing for synchronous updating of DAC registers. It offers 8-bit resolution with a typical settling time of 6µs and integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±1 LSB (maximum). The MAX510ACPE has four DAC channels, each with an external reference type.
