The MAX5094DAUA is a BiCMOS, high-performance, current-mode PWM controller designed for wide input-voltage range isolated and non-isolated power supplies. It is suitable for low- and high-power universal input voltage and telecom power supplies.
This controller features a fast comparator with a 60ns typical delay from current sense to the output for overcurrent protection. The oscillator frequency is adjustable from 10kHz to 500kHz with an external resistor and capacitor. It offers a maximum duty cycle of 49.8% and operates within a voltage range of 7.6V to 30V.
The MAX5094DAUA is available in an 8-pin uMAX/uSOP package and an 8-TSSOP, 8-MSOP package. It is designed for surface mount applications and operates over an automotive temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
Key features include a 2A drive source and 1A sink capability, and frequency control. It is pin-for-pin compatible with UCC28C43 and UCC28C45.
