This PWM converter features a fixed 125kHz switching frequency at heavy loads, automatically switching to pulse-skipping mode for high efficiency at light loads. It includes internal frequency compensation, an internal low-on-resistance DMOS transistor, undervoltage lockout, cycle-by-cycle current limit, hiccup mode output short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown.
