The MAX4679EUE is a quad analog switch IC from MAX, designed for low-distortion applications. It features a maximum on-resistance of 1.6 Ω when operating from a dual ±5V supply, with on-resistance matched between channels to 0.3 Ω max and flat within 0.4 Ω max over the specified signal range.
This device supports Rail-to-Rail analog signals and operates from either a single +2.7V to +11V supply or dual ±2.7V to ±5.5V supplies. It includes a separate logic supply input that operates from +2.7V to V+, enabling independent logic and analog supplies. The MAX4679 has two normally closed (NC) and two normally open (NO) switches, featuring guaranteed break-before-make switching.
Key electrical characteristics include a crosstalk of -84dB at 1MHz and off-isolation of -65dB at 1MHz, with a -3dB bandwidth of 66MHz. Off-leakage current is minimal at 0.1nA at +25°C. The MAX4679EUE is available in a 16-pin TSSOP package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
Ideal for automated test equipment, communications systems, and audio signal routing, these switches offer low power requirements, reduced board space, and enhanced reliability compared to mechanical relays.
