The MAX4616EUD+T from Analog Devices is a quad, single-pole/single-throw (SPST) analog switch. It is pin-compatible with industry-standard devices like the 74HC4066 and MAX4610.
This high-speed switch features a guaranteed on-resistance of 10 Ohms maximum with a +5V supply and 20 Ohms maximum with a +3V supply. The on-resistance is matched between channels to within 1 Ohm and remains flat across the specified signal range. It handles analog signal levels from V+ to GND and boasts a low off-leakage current of only 1nA at +25°C and 6nA at +85°C.
With fast switching times of 12ns tON and 10ns tOFF, the MAX4616EUD+T is suitable for applications such as battery-operated equipment, audio/video signal routing, and low-voltage data-acquisition systems. It operates from a single +2V to +5.5V supply and features TTL/CMOS-logic compatible digital inputs.
The device is available in a 14-TSSOP surface-mount package. The MAX4616 variant includes two normally open (NO) switches and two normally closed (NC) switches.
