MAX4561EUT+T Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The MAX4561EUT+T is a low-voltage, ESD-protected analog switch designed for applications requiring reliable signal routing. It features a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) configuration and operates from a single supply voltage ranging from 1.8V to 12V.

Key electrical characteristics include a guaranteed on-resistance of 70 Ohms at a +5V supply and 120 Ohms at a +3V supply. The on-resistance is matched between channels to within 2 Ohms maximum and exhibits low flatness of 4 Ohms maximum over the specified signal range. Off-leakage current is minimal, at only 0.5nA at +25°C and 5nA at +85°C. The switch can handle Rail-to-Rail analog signals.

ESD protection is provided for the normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) inputs against ±15kV electrostatic discharge (ESD) without latchup or damage. The COM input is protected against 2.5kV ESD. The digital input logic thresholds are TTL/CMOS-compatible when using a +5V supply.

The MAX4561EUT+T is supplied in a compact 6-pin SOT-23 package, suitable for surface mounting in space-constrained designs. Its robust ESD protection makes it ideal for high-ESD environments, battery-powered systems, audio and video signal routing, and low-voltage data-acquisition systems.
