The MAX4554CPE is a CMOS analog IC configured as a force-sense switch, designed for Kelvin sensing in automated test equipment (ATE). It contains two triple-pole/single-throw (3PST) normally open (NO) switches. The device offers low on-resistance of 6 Ohms for force signal paths and 60 Ohms for sense-guard paths, with matching within 1 Ohm and 8 Ohms respectively.
This switch operates from a single supply of +9V to +40V or dual supplies of ±4.5V to ±20V. It can handle Rail-to-Rail analog signals. The off-leakage current is minimal, only 0.25nA at +25°C and 2.5nA at +85°C. Digital inputs are TTL/CMOS-compatible with logic thresholds at +0.8V and +2.4V.
