The device offers low on-resistance of 6 Ohms for force signal paths and 60 Ohms for sense-guard paths, with matching within 1 Ohm and 8 Ohms respectively.

 

This switch operates from a single supply of +9V to +40V or dual supplies of ±4.5V to ±20V. It can handle Rail-to-Rail analog signals. The off-leakage current is minimal, only 0.25nA at +25°C and 2.5nA at +85°C. Digital inputs are TTL/CMOS-compatible with logic thresholds at +0.8V and +2.4V.

 

Key features include break-before-make switching, fast switching times (tON and tOFF = 275ns), low power consumption (1µA), and over 2kV ESD protection. The MAX4554CPE is packaged in a 16-DIP through-hole mount.
