The MAX4518CPD+ is a precision, monolithic, CMOS analog multiplexer from Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated. It offers low on-resistance of less than 100 Ohms, matched to within 4 Ohms between channels and remaining flat over the specified analog signal range (10 Ohms max).
This device also provides low leakage over temperature, with NO-off leakage current less than 2nA at +85°C, and fast switching speeds with a transition time less than 250ns. It guarantees low charge injection (less than 5pC) and electrostatic discharge protection greater than 2000V.
The MAX4518CPD+ operates with a single +2.7V to +15V supply or with bipolar ±2.7V to ±8V supplies, while retaining CMOS-logic input compatibility and fast switching. CMOS inputs provide reduced input loading. It is suitable for applications such as sample-and-hold circuits, automatic test equipment, heads-up displays, guidance and control systems, military radios, communications systems, battery-operated systems, PBX, PABX, audio signal routing, and low-voltage data-acquisition systems.
Packaged in a 14-PDIP through-hole configuration, this multiplexer is designed for reliable performance in various electronic systems.
