The MAX394EWP from Analog Devices (formerly Maxim Integrated) is a precision, low-voltage, quad SPDT analog switch. It is designed for applications requiring efficient signal routing and low power consumption.
This monolithic switch offers a maximum on-resistance of 35 Ohms, with guaranteed matching within 2 Ohms between channels and flatness within 4 Ohms over the analog signal range. It supports bipolar supplies from ±2.7V to ±8V or single supplies from +2.7V to +15V. The device provides break-before-make switching with typical turn-off times under 75ns and turn-on times under 130ns. Quiescent current is less than 1µA.
Fabricated using Maxim's low-voltage silicon-gate process, the MAX394EWP boasts extremely low charge injection (10pC typical) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection greater than 2000V. Logic inputs are TTL and CMOS compatible. The switch handles rail-to-rail analog signals without damage.
Ideal for portable instruments, test equipment, and communications systems, the MAX394EWP is available in a 20-SOIC surface mount package.
