The MAX338ESE+T is a monolithic CMOS analog multiplexer designed to connect one of eight inputs to a common output. It offers a maximum on-resistance of 400 Ohms and features extremely low off-leakage current (less than 20pA at +25°C) and on-channel leakage (less than 50pA at +25°C).

 

This device provides guaranteed low charge injection of 1.5pC and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection greater than 2000V. It operates from a single supply of +4.5V to +30V or dual supplies of ±4.5V to ±20V. Control inputs are TTL compatible over the specified temperature range.

 

The MAX338ESE+T is suitable for applications such as data-acquisition systems, test equipment, military radios, guidance and control systems, sample-and-hold circuits, heads-up displays, and communications systems. It is supplied in a 16-SOIC surface mount package.

 

Key electrical characteristics include a maximum on-resistance of 400 Ohms, a channel-to-channel match of 4 Ohms, and a switch time (Ton, Toff) of 500ns. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
