MAX333AEUP Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The MAX333AEUP is a precision, quad, single-pole double-throw (SPDT) analog switch from Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated. It is designed for bipolar supply operation ranging from ±4.5V to ±20V, or single-ended supply operation between +10V and +30V.

This monolithic switch offers low on-resistance, typically less than 17 Ohms, guaranteed to match within 2 Ohms between channels and remain flat over the analog signal range with a maximum deviation of 3 Ohms. It provides break-before-make switching with turn-off times less than 145ns and turn-on times less than 175ns. The device exhibits low charge injection (10pC max) and low power consumption (3.75mW typical).

Logic inputs are TTL and CMOS compatible and guaranteed over a +0.8V to +2.4V range, regardless of supply voltage. The MAX333AEUP is suitable for applications such as test equipment, communications systems, PBX/PABX, heads-up displays, and portable instruments. It is fabricated using Maxim's improved silicon-gate process, ensuring electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection greater than 2000V.

The MAX333AEUP is available in a 20-TSSOP package, designed for surface mounting.
