MAX333AEUP+ Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The MAX333AEUP+ is a precision, quad, single-pole double-throw (SPDT) analog switch designed for various applications including test equipment and communication systems. It offers low on-resistance, typically 17 Ohms and a maximum of 35 Ohms, with guaranteed matching within 2 Ohms between channels and flatness within 3 Ohms over the analog signal range.

This monolithic switch operates with bipolar supplies ranging from ±4.5V to ±20V, or with a single-ended supply between +10V and +30V. It provides fast switching times, with turn-off times less than 145ns and turn-on times less than 175ns. The device exhibits low charge injection (10pC typical) and low quiescent current (less than 50µA), making it suitable for portable applications. It is fabricated using Maxim's silicon-gate process, ensuring low power consumption (3.75mW) and ESD protection greater than 2000V.

The MAX333AEUP+ is available in a 20-TSSOP package and is designed for surface mount applications. Its logic inputs are TTL and CMOS compatible, and it can handle rail-to-rail analog signal swings without damage. The device is an upgraded replacement for DG211/DG212 pairs or two DG403s.
