The MAX333A is a precision, quad, single-pole double-throw (SPDT) analog switch from Maxim Integrated. It is designed for applications requiring high precision and low power consumption, making it suitable for portable instruments and test equipment.
This monolithic switch offers low on-resistance, guaranteed to be matched within 2 Ohms between channels and to remain flat over the analog signal range (3 Ohms max). It also provides break-before-make switching with typical times of 10ns. The device features low charge injection (10pC) and low power consumption (3.75mW), with quiescent current running less than 50µA.
The MAX333A supports bipolar supplies ranging from ±4.5V to ±20V, or single-ended supplies from +10V to +30V. Its logic inputs are TTL and CMOS compatible, guaranteed over a +0.8V to +2.4V range, regardless of supply voltage. The analog signals can range rail-to-rail between the supply voltages without damage.
Available in a 20-WFSOP package, the MAX333ACWP+ is designed for surface mount applications. Its features make it an upgraded replacement for DG211/DG212 pairs or two DG403 analog switches.
