MAX31913AUI+

The MAX31913AUI+ by Analog Devices is an industrial interface serializer designed for automation applications. It translates, conditions, and serializes 24V digital outputs from sensors and switches into 5V CMOS-compatible signals required by microcontrollers, serving as the front-end interface for programmable logic controller (PLC) digital input modules.

Key features include integrated current limiting, selectable on-chip low-pass filters for debouncing, and on-chip serialization that reduces the need for optocouplers. The device supports 8 high-voltage input channels and outputs data through an SPI-compatible port.
