The MAX31875R0TZS+T is a highly accurate digital temperature sensor from Analog Devices, designed for a variety of equipment. It features an I2C/SMBus-compatible serial interface, allowing for easy integration into existing systems. The sensor boasts excellent temperature measurement accuracy, with a typical accuracy of ±1°C from 0°C to 70°C and ±1.75°C from -40°C to +145°C.
With a low average power supply current of less than 10µA, this sensor is ideal for battery-powered applications. It supports bus speeds up to 1MHz and operates over a wide power supply voltage range of 1.6V to 3.6V. The device is available in a tiny 4-bump, 0.84mm x 0.84mm x 0.35mm wafer-level package (WLP), making it suitable for space-constrained designs.
Key features include selectable timeout to prevent bus lockup and selectable PEC for reliable communications. The operating temperature range is -50°C to +150°C. This sensor is well-suited for applications such as battery-powered equipment, handheld electronics, data communications equipment, servers, and industrial equipment.
