The MAX31855KASA+T from Analog Devices is a thermocouple-to-digital converter designed for industrial, appliance, and HVAC applications. It performs cold-junction compensation and digitizes signals from K-, J-, N-, T-, S-, R-, or E-type thermocouples.
This device features a 14-bit resolution, providing temperature readings with 0.25°C increments. It supports a wide temperature range, allowing readings as high as +1800°C and as low as -270°C. For K-type thermocouples, it exhibits an accuracy of ±2°C for temperatures between -200°C and +700°C.
