The MAX31826MUA+T from Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated is a digital thermometer offering precise 12-bit temperature measurements. It features a broad operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C, with an accuracy of ±0.5°C within the -10°C to +85°C range. The sensor utilizes a unique 1-Wire bus interface, requiring only a single data line for communication with a microcontroller, simplifying system design.
This device is capable of deriving power directly from the data line, known as parasite power, eliminating the need for an external power supply. It includes 1Kb of lockable EEPROM for system data storage and a unique 64-bit serial code, enabling multiple devices to operate on the same 1-Wire bus. The MAX31826MUA+T is available in an 8-pin μMAX package, suitable for surface mount applications.
