The MAX31725MTA+T is a digital local temperature sensor from Analog Devices, designed for accurate temperature measurements. It features a high-resolution sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and provides an overtemperature alarm/interrupt/shutdown output.
With an accuracy of ±0.5°C from -40°C to +105°C and a resolution of 15 bits, this sensor is ideal for applications requiring precise temperature monitoring. It operates over a supply voltage range of 2.5V to 3.7V and has a wide sensing temperature range of -55°C to +150°C.
Communication is handled via an I2C-compatible 2-wire serial interface. The device is available in an 8-pin TDFN package, suitable for surface mount applications. Its features include one-shot and shutdown modes to help reduce power usage, making it efficient for power-sensitive designs.
Applications for this sensor include servers, networking equipment, telecom infrastructure, and industrial systems where reliable temperature monitoring is critical.
