The MAX3160CAP+ incorporates integrated charge-pump circuitry, eliminating the need for bipolar supplies and saving board space. It also includes protection features such as transmitter and receiver protection against wiring faults, true fail-safe receivers, short-circuit protection, and thermal protection.
