It features comprehensive electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, rated to ±15kV using IEC 1000-4-2 Air-Gap Discharge, ±8kV using IEC 1000-4-2 Contact Discharge, and ±15kV using the Human Body Model.

 

This receiver operates from a +3.3V supply and supports a data rate of up to 10Mbps. It includes a low-power shutdown mode where receiver outputs become high impedance, consuming only 1nA. When active, it features a fail-safe mechanism that guarantees a logic-high output if the input is open circuit. Its quarter-unit-load input impedance allows up to 128 receivers on a bus.

 

The MAX3094EESE is pin-compatible with the industry-standard ’34C86 and is available in a space-saving 16-SOIC package, suitable for surface mounting. Its guaranteed propagation-delay tolerance ensures device-to-device matching across production lots.
