The MAX308CSE is a precision, monolithic CMOS analog multiplexer from Analog Devices, designed for high-performance applications. It offers a low on-resistance of less than 100 Ohms, which is matched to within 5 Ohms between channels and remains flat over the specified analog signal range. This device provides low leakage over temperature, with NO-off leakage current less than 5nA at +85°C, and fast switching speeds with a transition time less than 250ns.
Fabricated using an improved silicon-gate process, the MAX308CSE offers extremely low charge injection (less than 10pC) and guarantees electrostatic discharge protection greater than 2000V. It operates with a single +5V to +30V supply or bipolar ±5V to ±20V supplies, while retaining TTL/CMOS-logic input compatibility. The multiplexer is a plug-in upgrade for industry-standard DG408/DG409/DG508A/DG509A parts.
This 8:1 multiplexer is suitable for applications such as sample-and-hold circuits, automatic test equipment, heads-up displays, guidance and control systems, military radios, communications systems, battery-operated systems, PBX/PABX, and audio signal routing. The MAX308CSE comes in a 16-SOIC package and is designed for surface mount applications, operating within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.
